On the July 8 episode of YouTube talk show “Salon Drip 2”, Nana sat down with host Jang Do Yeon and reflected on her past tattoos, revealing that they’re “almost all gone now.”
When asked whether the tattoo removal process hurt, the idol-actress calmly replied, “It’s tolerable. I can handle pain pretty well. I went through it five times without any numbing cream.” Her calm demeanor left both fans and viewers stunned.

Then, as Jang Do Yeon questioned why she skipped the cream, Nana explained, “It’s a hassle. You have to leave it on for three to four hours for it to work. I just couldn’t bring myself to sit around for that long. It felt like such a waste of time.”
She also added that the most painful areas were around the chest line and places close to the bone, like the ribs and tops of the feet. Still, Nana kept one meaningful tattoo: a number on her shin that reads “1968”, explaining that it is the year her mom was born.

Hearing this, Jang Do Yeon brought up how Nana once said she removed the tattoos at her mother’s suggestion. Nana confirmed this, stating, “A while after I got the tattoos, my mom carefully asked, ‘How about removing them?’ So I just said, ‘Cool~ I can do that.’”
Nana also revealed just how close she is with her mother, sharing, “I don’t think many moms are like mine. Her mindset is so open. She drinks with my friends, and everyone feels comfortable around her”
“On December 31, we even went clubbing together. We danced and rang in the New Year at a club with my friends”, she also said, adding, “She’s so cool. I want to be like her.”
